THE CHALLENGE
We first started working with Connetts Farm back in 2020, producing a Christmas Tree video campaign that gained over 28k views and 300 shares, huge numbers for a small, local business. Sales surged, and it quickly became clear there was untapped potential in pairing their traditional, community-focused values with a stronger digital presence.
In early 2024, Connetts approached us with a broader challenge: rebrand the business, modernise their online infrastructure, and take their social media to the next level.
At the time, there was no brand identity to speak of, no content strategy, and no real structure behind how products were presented. Ordering was done via handwritten notes taken over the phone, which wasn’t sustainable. Their social media was inconsistent and mostly inactive, and they had no online store or central hub for customers to view products, check prices, or place an order. For a business with highly seasonal demand and a growing product range—from topsoil and compost to mulch and Christmas trees—the lack of digital systems was holding them back.
With increasing competition and a loyal but aging customer base, the goal was to bring Connetts Farm up to speed—fast—without losing the authenticity that made them trusted in the first place.
THE SOLUTION
We began by laying the foundation: a full rebrand and website overhaul. This included a new brand guidelines, logo and colour palette, a fully responsive e-commerce website with click and collect and delivery functionality, and a streamlined user journey to replace their outdated handwritten order system. We produced a high impact homepage hero video, photographed every product in detail, and created explainer videos featuring Nick (who owns & operates Connetts Farm) to help customers understand exactly what each product is used for.
Once the brand identity and site were in place, we shifted focus to socials. We launched Connetts Farm on TikTok and reintroduced consistent content to Instagram and Facebook. In just 28 unique posts— repurposed across platforms for a total of 84 uploads - we generated over 267,000 views and gained 3,000+ new followers.
Content strategy highlights:

• Platform native editing with voiceovers, music, and seasonal hooks
We built a monthly calendar around seasonal relevance (e.g. Christmas Trees in winter, compost in spring), leaning into authenticity and expertise. Every post was designed to inform, build trust, or capture attention.
Connetts Farm has gone from relying on word of mouth to having a consistent, strategic, and scalable digital presence—without losing the local, personal feel that made the brand what it is. You can see the website live here www.connettsfarm.com.
RESULTS
Over a 6 month period (July–January):
• We launched a fully rebranded identity and e-commerce website.
• Introduced consistent, high-quality content across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
• Built a sustainable, seasonal content model aligned with product demand.
Notably:
• Over 267,000 video views from just 28 unique posts.
• More than 3,000 new followers gained organically.
• Over 7,900 total interactions (likes, comments, shares) across all platforms.
The website transformation:
• Replaced the old paper-based ordering system with click and collect and delivery functionality
• Featured high resolution photography and explainer videos for each product.
• Reduced admin time and improved accuracy for both staff and customers
